Bavans success story in the Hungover Kitchen was cut short in last Sundays edition of the show, when Gustav presented his haddocks to the crowd. Tactical ingredient choices, a fruit with berries inside and overcooked pasta added up to the biggest score difference seen thus far.

It is also worth mention that the conditions were met for a hungover kitchen match. This is because there was a party at the PIMPhouse which ended around 4am that same morning with the departure of Birgitte and Nina who were pretty pissed (names have been manipulated). Actually it didn't, because that's when Gus took out his guitar and to his bitter disappointment found that there were only type Y individuals left to serenade. But they were Estonians and Rob, so he carried on anyway.

Earlier in the night Peter the Norwegian had been in charge of drinking games causing not only Birgitte and Nina, but also himself some excessive drinking. Even earlier, Bav the not-so-Norwegian and Meelis the even-less-Norwegian had been besung and aproned (it was indeed one of those aprons which Gustav masterfully flexed the following evening and Birgitte and Nina were also indisputably the same when they appeared the next day as Hayley and Freya, although not quite so drunk, which is why their names have now been inversely manipulated).

Mario days are over

Bavan has stopped playing Mario, but that has more to do with the emergence of Carcassonne than his actual completion (with the help of Rob), of the first 120 stars. Also, he is watching an Oscar-nominated documentary about playing Donkey Kong, so we probably haven't seen the end of Wii-playing yet.

As for studying, there has been a lot going on. Meelis gave an introductory lecture on financial mathematics. The topic of forward contracts and options attracted Bav as he is in the Wiibay business. Gustav is eagerly awaiting the lecture series on topics such as Brownian motion and when to stop gambling.

Rob has entered the "Ready Steady Study" competition and he is struggling not to loose, which reminds me that he hasn't actually been told what happens if you loose. Kap and Bav are not in the race yet, but one is working anyway and the other went to a lecture (-it was about sperm and this woman giving it was quite exciting and anyway it's part of my course).
